Product Description
The Advancer Technologies EMG Muscle Sensor V3.0 is designed for measuring the electrical activity of muscles in real-time. It outputs a voltage (0 to Vs) based on the strength of muscle activity, where Vs is the supply voltage. This sensor is widely used with Arduino projects in Pakistan for robotics, biomedical experiments, and DIY muscle-controlled applications. It requires a power supply of ±9V (minimum ±3.5V).
Features:
- Power Supply: ±9V (minimum ±3.5V)
- Compact and lightweight design
- Optimized for use with microcontrollers such as Arduino
- Adjustable gain control
- 3.5mm connector for easy cable attachment
- Breadboard mountable and beginner-friendly
Wiring Instructions:
To use the EMG Muscle Signal Sensor Module Kit for Arduino, three electrodes are required:
- Reference electrode: Place on a non-active area (e.g., bony part of elbow, shin, or forearm). Connect to the black/brown cable.
- Middle electrode: Place on the center of the target muscle. Connect to the red cable.
- End electrode: Place at the far end of the muscle. Connect to the blue cable.
Finally, connect the SIG pin to the Arduino’s analog input and the GND pin to ground. This allows accurate muscle signal detection for your project.
Important Safety Note:
- Do not use this sensor for medical diagnosis or treatment.
- Always use under adult supervision if operated by minors.
- Improper wiring or handling may cause harm to the subject.
