Product Description

The STM32F401 “Black Pill” development board is an upgraded version of the original F103 Black Pill. It features a powerful ARM Cortex-M4F CPU, 512KB flash, 128KB SRAM, a Floating Point Unit, and multiple peripherals including USB Type-C OTG support. This compact and affordable board offers advanced functionality at a fraction of the cost of Arduino boards, making it ideal for hobbyists and developers.

  • STM32F411CEU6 CPU (100MHz) with 512KB Flash & 128KB RAM
  • Onboard LDO for 5V to 3.3V DC conversion
  • 2x20 Pin Single Line Header giving access to all I/Os (headers unsoldered)
  • SWD Programming Interface header for debugging and programming
  • Reset, Boot Mode, and User switches
  • Power LED and User LED on GPIO C13
  • 25MHz high-speed crystal & 32.768kHz low-speed crystal for RTC
  • BOOT0 and NRST pins for serial or DFU programming using STM32 Cube Programmer
  • Option to solder SPI memory on the bottom side
  • USB Type-C connector for power and communication

Interface Description:

  • SWD Interface: Supports simulation, download, and debugging
  • Micro USB Interface: Power supply and USB communication (download not supported)
  • USART1 Interface: Can be used for program download or serial communication
  • MCU Pin Interface: Exposes all I/O pins for easy peripheral connection
  • 5V & 3.3V Power Input/Output: For external power supply or common grounding with other modules

Additional Equipment Description:

  • Power Indicator (PWR): Shows stable power status
  • User LED (PC13): Useful for I/O output testing or program status indication
