Product Description

The Arduino Nano v3 is a compact, breadboard-friendly microcontroller board based on the reliable ATmega328P. It offers almost the same features as the Arduino Duemilanove but in a smaller, space-saving package. Unlike larger boards, the Nano does not include a DC power jack and instead uses a Mini-B USB cable for programming and power, making it ideal for small-scale projects.

How Arduino Nano Works?

Understanding how Arduino Nano works is simple — it takes inputs from sensors or devices, processes them with the ATmega328P microcontroller, and provides outputs to components such as LEDs, motors, or displays. Its flexibility makes it one of the most popular boards for both beginners and advanced electronics projects.

Arduino Nano Memory

The ATmega328 microcontroller on the Arduino Nano comes with:

  • Flash Memory: 32 KB (with 2 KB reserved for the bootloader)
  • SRAM: 2 KB
  • EEPROM: 1 KB

This memory is sufficient for most Arduino Nano v3 projects, whether you are a student, hobbyist, or professional developer.

Arduino Nano Common Pins (Input and Output)

  • Digital I/O: 14 common pins that can be used as input or output, operating at 5V (max 40 mA per pin, with internal pull-up resistors of 20-50k Ohms).
  • Serial (UART): Pins 0 (RX) and 1 (TX) for TTL serial communication.
  • External Interrupts: Pins 2 and 3, configurable for different triggers using the attachInterrupt() function.
  • PWM: Pins 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11, supporting 8-bit PWM output via analogWrite().
  • SPI Communication: Pins 10 (SS), 11 (MOSI), 12 (MISO), 13 (SCK) for high-speed data transfer.
  • Built-in LED: Pin 13 comes with an onboard LED, useful for quick testing.

Arduino Nano Analog Inputs

The Arduino Nano v3 provides 8 analog input pins with 10-bit resolution (1024 values). By default, they measure from 0V to 5V, but you can change the reference range using analogReference(). Note: Analog pins A6 and A7 cannot function as digital I/O.

Specialized Features of Arduino Nano v3

  • I2C Communication: A4 (SDA) and A5 (SCL), supported via the Wire library for sensor and module integration.
  • AREF Pin: Provides an external reference voltage for analog inputs.
  • Reset Pin: Can be pulled LOW to restart the microcontroller.

What’s Included in the Package?

  • 1 x Arduino Nano Board (with pre-soldered pins)
  • 1 x USB 2.0 Mini-B Cable for programming and power

Why Choose Arduino Nano v3?

The Arduino Nano board is perfect for students, beginners, and engineers working on embedded systems, robotics, IoT devices, and sensor-based projects. With its compact size and compatibility with Arduino IDE, it is one of the most popular choices for electronic prototyping. If you are searching for an Arduino Nano price in Pakistan, this affordable board ensures great performance without breaking your budget.
