The SN04-N Inductive Proximity Sensor is designed to detect metallic objects within a 5mm range. Detection may vary slightly depending on the type, size, and shape of the metal. This sensor can also sense through thin, non-metallic materials. It includes a built-in LED indicator that lights up when powered and gets brighter when a metallic object is detected.
